1. Rochester Christmas Market
Kent’s largest market takes place over three consecutive weekends in Rochester Castle Gardens, with the 11th-century Norman castle serving as a backdrop. More than 70 stalls sell artisan goods and seasonal treats, alongside live music performances and craft workshops. The market combines castle illuminations with contemporary entertainment, offering a range of handmade gifts, food, drinks, and traditional mulled wine. 2. Canterbury Christmas Market
Located at Whitefriars Canterbury on Gravel Walk, this market features more than 70 wooden chalets among medieval streets near Canterbury Cathedral. The traditional setup includes Santa’s Grotto for families alongside locally produced Kentish ales and gins for adults. The historic city location allows visitors to combine market shopping with visits to the cathedral and exploration of Canterbury’s medieval architecture and streets.
