Nashville Christmas Market 2026: Food & Shopping at the Village

Last Updated: 2 July 2026
No Comments

The Nashville Christmas Village has been running since 1961, when a group of sorority alumnae turned a one-day fundraiser into a four-day shopping tradition at the Fairgrounds. More than 250 merchants now fill the hall each November, and the event has raised over $15 million for speech and hearing programmes at Vanderbilt’s Bill Wilkerson Center.

Interesting Tours

I suggest taking a city tour of Nashville, which lets you see many of the city’s key sights.

Alternatively, consider this food tour to introduce you to the local culture through their unique cuisine. There are many different tours to take, but this Nashville donut tour is particularly popular.

Regional Specialties

  • Nashville Hot Chicken: A fiery local delight, it’s breaded and coated in a cayenne-spiced sauce, typically served with pickles.
