Now called the Enchanted Winter Celebration, Schellville in Rehoboth Beach has shifted from a traditional market format toward a family-oriented attraction with a snow zone, sledding hill, and live entertainment. It’s a ticketed event, which keeps crowd sizes manageable and sets expectations differently from the open-air European-style markets.

Christmas in Schellville
The Village creates a unique setting for holiday enjoyment. This holiday event stands out with its 18 miniature houses, each with decorations, toys and activities. A dedicated snow zone and an expanded sledding area offer ample opportunities for family fun.
Adults can unwind at the craft beer garden, while live entertainment on the Snowflake Stage adds to the atmosphere. If you’re more drawn to visual spectacles, a maze of lights offers an illuminating experience.

Sustainability Tips
- Food Waste: Be mindful of food waste when ordering, especially at stalls and restaurants that offer large portions.
- Ethical Consumption: Support local makers, but only buy what you need or will use. Overconsumption is a primary driver of environmental degradation, so let’s make thoughtful purchasing decisions.
- Sustainable Diets: Plant-based or vegetarian options have a lower environmental impact.

In the past, you had to pre-register online for the date you wanted to attend. Is that procedure still going to be the same? And other than the specific days noted that you are closed, you are open 7 days a week, correct? I thought a few years ago it was only open like from Wednesday through Sunday. Thank you.
