Gamla Stan can also be quite touristy. Of course, it’s popular for a reason, but if you prefer to stay in a slightly quieter area, many options are still close to places of interest.
If you want to be near the Christmas market in Gamla Stan, consider staying in either Gamla Stan itself or in the nearby Södermalm district.
